FAQs

Journey Experience

Does each individual have the same experience?

No. Every person's journey is distinct. Factors like personal history, current emotional state, and mental readiness play significant roles in shaping the experience. We collaborate with you to ensure emotional, physical, and spiritual preparedness. This enables you to enter a receptive state and remove resistances, maximizing the benefits of your journey. While some experiences may share similarities, each person perceives and interprets their journey in their own way. After your journey, you will have a record transcript of everything you said. This will be a key for your integration and interpretation of messages.

What is the actual journey experience like?

You will be laying down, listening to curated music through noise cancelling headphones, with an eye mask on and a weighted blanket over you. During this sacred time with your higher self, you may receive information or downloads, instructions from your subconscious mind. The journey will be recorded, and part of your integration will be to listen to the recording and transcribe it.

Do I journey alone, or in a group setting?

Even if you journey at the same time the others, each person is in their own energetic and physical space having their own experiences. Their will be an invitation to join with others, if you feel like it after the journey (if you are journeying with others.) We find that when families, couples or beings that share a deep bond journey together, they are intrinsically connected on a deeper level through the frequency of the medicine.

How long will the experience last?

It lasts between 3-6 hours. After the journey, you may want to rest and after a few hours you may want to eat, journal, paint, be in nature or take a bath. We hold space for whatever your needs are.

Where do you do journeys at?

We use private residences and have some options to host, or come to you. When we speak with you, we will talk about what works best for you.

What type of support is available to me?

We have trained facilitators, across a spectrum of modalities, including Breathwork, Coaching, Medicine Facilitation, Reiki and Sound Healing. We will support you pre-journey through preparation, during the journey and post- journey through a blend of virtual calls, practices and tool kits.

What does 'journey back to your heart' mean?

Real change doesn't stem from solely logical reasoning. True answers emerge from the heart space—a realm of connection with one's innermost self, embodying love and compassion. Amidst a world that sometimes detaches us from our core, a medicinal journey can be a conduit to reforge that vital connection to our authentic selves.

How frequently should I journey?

We recommend a journey every 6 to 8 weeks, if you feel the benefits. Some people journey once and never need to again. For others, the first journey is the beginning of a pathway to healing. While the effects of Ketamine are immediate and can last for weeks, establishing new thought and behavior patterns takes time. Returning to familiar routines can sometimes diminish the profound insights gained during journeys. Those who journey regularly often uncover fresh insights with each session, remove layers of trauma and conditioning revealing a most true, authentic version of self.

In a study from the Journal of Affective Disorders in March 2022, researchers observed the benefits of ketamine intravenous therapy on depression. Of the 537 individuals treated with 4 to 8 ketamine infusions between 2016 and 2020, over half reported a reduction in depression symptoms by 50% or more. Additionally, 73% of the 356 participants who had experienced suicidal thoughts saw a decrease post-treatment. There was also a 79% probability of experiencing relief after four weeks and around a 60% likelihood at 8 weeks without additional treatments. These journeys are safe, and effective.

Is this right for me?

What if I'm using SSRI's or other medications?

1 in 10 American adults take SSRI anti-depressants, with the figure rising to 1 in 4 for women aged 40 to 50. Side effects can include reduced sexual desire, increased suicidal thoughts, and weight gain. During our consultation, we'll discuss your long-term goals, including the possibility of discontinuing SSRIs.

Please inform us of any medications you've taken in the past 5 years when filling out the Journey Interest Form. We collaborate with a medical doctor to screen for potential interactions. Some medications might interfere with ketamine, influencing its effectiveness and increasing the risk of side effects. We generally advise you to taper off certain antidepressants and bipolar medications before a journey and recommend consultation with your primary healthcare provider.

Should I worry about the negative stigma around these substances?

The skepticism surrounding entheogenic medicines can be attributed to their recreational use history and potential misuse. Compounds that alter consciousness can often be misconstrued or stigmatized. As more research emerges highlighting their therapeutic advantages, these perceptions are evolving. Entheogenic medicines have a rich history, with indigenous groups using them in spiritual contexts for millennia.

How can I discuss this with my family or partner?

When broaching your interest in a healing journey, it's pivotal to be open and grounded in facts. Present research, express your motivations, and enumerate potential advantages. Address their apprehensions and provide reassurances. We can assist by supplying resources and information. Your journey is personal, and while external support is invaluable, the ultimate choice is yours. We also offer a post-journey toolkit for you and your loved ones, giving you critical tools to coach you for optimal integration and success.
